RESOURCES
Everybody has to start somewhere, and that includes me. Below, please find a list of some of the websites, books, and other resources I've found helpful in learning how to become a serious couponer. Enjoy!

WEBSITES
www.TheGroceryGame.com- This is where it all began. For a small monthly fee, this site will do all the coupon/sale matchups for you and tell you exactly where to find all those delicious coupons we heart so much! If you join, you can use my email address Amadscrapper1@aol.comfor the referral.

www.Hip2Save.com- I truly heart this website. Her video series are fabulous for explaining the ins and outs of couponing at drug stores.

www.coupons.com- Probably the most popular website for legitimate, printable online coupons. Most coupons can only be printed twice, but check at the beginning and near the end of the month, since a number of their coupons "reset", which means you can print another two.

www.youtube.com- Just type in the search field "couponing" and you could spend the rest of your life watching videos of coupon enthusiasts doing what we love best. I'm a visual person, so watching these videos helped me a LOT. A couple of my favorite channels are: hip2save and GlamLifeGuru. I also plan to start uploading videos to my own channel, so please check it out and let me know what you think once I have loaded some videos. Feel free to explore and discover your favorites.

BOOKS
Shop Smart, Save More by Teri Gault - This book is written by the founder of The Grocery Game (see website above) with some generalized explanation of how to use coupons with the store sales. As expected, there are numerous plugs for the website, but I think my favorite section of this book is title "What Is A Good Sale" simply because it details the best time of the year to buy items at their lowest price (trust me, there's way more to it than just school supplies in August and cranberries in December).

Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey by Joanie Demer & Heather Wheeler - Co-authored by the women who run
www.TheKrazyCouponLady.com this is a hysterial easy-to-read book written in the style of popular chick lit. The book is full of anectodes and silly cartoons and they're completely upfront about the amount of time it takes to coupon seriously. The title is a phrase all couponers probably find ourselves repeating to unsuspecting souls who might get in line behind us at the grocery store. Although they do run a website (which is totally free) you could learn to coupon straight from this book without ever needing to visit their website. (As an aside, the reason I didn't list their website above is because I've found the site to be very slow to load, and most of the same information I can find on Hip2Save, but feel free to add both to your list.)

COUPON POLICIES
Know your rights! Your coupon rights, that is. Shopping at different stores with coupons can be tricky, because not only do different companies have different coupon policies, often you'll find that the policy varies even among different stores for the SAME company - especially if you are shopping in another area of the country. The links below are for the stores that I coupon at most often. I HIGHLY recommend you print a hard copy of the coupon policy for any store you plan to shop at and keep it with you on your shopping trips.
Albertsons Coupon Policy
Safeway Coupon Policy
Rite Aid Coupon Policy
Walgreens Coupon Policy
Target Coupon Policy
Staples  - I have used manufacturer coupons "stacked" with store coupons at my local Staples. You might want to check with your store manager beforehand to learn how coupons are handled at your location.

Petco - I have used both manufacturer coupons and store coupons at Petco. Check with your store's manager to get the most up to date information on couponing in their store when no corporate policy is available.
